Maestro Giuseppe Verdi was born, is the seat of the worldwide famous
music school, G.V. theatre, Barezzi House and Villa Pallavicino.
Close to it there is Roncole Verdi where you can visit the birth
house of G.V. Moreover in Busseto takes place every year the Verdi
Festival and also the famous folkloristic “laughing carnival” with
allegoric wagons, band and majorettes. |

San Secondo you can visit the Rossi fortress built at the
beginning of 15th century. |

3) In Soragna there is the synagogue and beside the jewish museum. |

4) Colorno is a town rich of history with the royal Palace of the
13th century then abode of Napoleon’s wife Maria Luigia d’Austria.
In the Palace there is also an international school of high cuisine
(A.L.M.A) directed by Gualtiero Marchesi. |

5) Fontanellato is visited every year by thousands of tourists
because of the Sanctuary of the Virgin and the beautiful
medieval castle surrounded by a moat |

6) In Torrile there is
the Oasi Lipu a protected area where you can take a trip in direct
contact with nature and birdwatching many rare species of birds. |

addicted: “Fidenza Outlet Village” is the right place to find either
italian or international brands on discount. |

8) Travelling through
these suggestive small towns rich in history and traditions you can
buy typical regional products such as: culatello di Zibello, spalla
cotta di San Secondo, salami, cheese and in the end you can enjoy
the famous “torta fritta” together with a good glass of wine Fortana
in one of the characteristic Trattorie. |
